HM Treasury AML/CTF Survey

HM Treasury is inviting firms subject to AML regulations to complete a brief online survey in preparation for the UK’s 2027 mutual evaluation by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF).

FATF sets global standards for anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist financing (CTF), periodically assessing member countries. The UK’s last evaluation was in 2018, with a progress report in 2022.

In advance of the 2027 evaluation, HM Treasury is collecting additional data from regulated firms to demonstrate the strength of the UK’s AML and CTF framework.

Firms with exposure to terrorist or proliferation financing risks are especially encouraged to participate. The survey takes approximately 20 minutes to complete and is open until 31 March 2026.
