Consolidated Notaries Accounts Rules 2026
Following approval by the Legal Services Board of the new Notaries Accounts Rules 2026, these have now been made by the Master and come into effect on 1st July 2026.
The new rules are a consolidation and updating of the Notaries Accounts Rules 1989 (as amended), the Notaries Trust Accounts Rules 1989 and the Notaries Accounts (Deposit Interest) Rules 1989 which are revoked but they do not impose any new obligations on notaries.
