Faculty Office Response to Consultation on Practising Certificate Fees and Business Plan 2025-2028

The Faculty Office launched its consultation on the proposed level of practising certificate fees on 23rd July 2025 which ran until 22nd August 2025. The consultation document (Appendix A) was emailed to every practising notary in England & Wales together with other stakeholders and it also appeared on the FO website.

The consultation elicited 11 responses from individual notaries and one from the Notaries Society of England & Wales. Anonymised copies of the individual responses received alongside the Notaries Society response are included in Appendix B.
