FATF Update

The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) published the outcomes of its June 2026 Plenary, highlighting a continued international focus on strengthening anti-money laundering controls and tackling emerging financial crime risks.

Bosnia and Herzegovina and Iraq have been added to the FATF list of jurisdictions under increased monitoring (the ‘grey list’).

Algeria and Namibia have been removed from the grey list following completion of their action plans.

FATF has confirmed that combating fraud, improving public/private information sharing and enhancing risk-based supervision will be key priorities under the forthcoming UK Presidency.
