Professional judgement of lawyers – interim legal ethics study

The Faculty Office is pleased to publish its interim legal ethics study on the professional judgement of lawyers.

It takes decisions in the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal over two years as its material and begins with a short literature review.

It is designed to provide some background to the Faculty Office work into professional ethics and to contribute to debate in the legal services sector about the factors which cause some lawyers to commit professional misconduct.
